Keeping the same concept of the accordion we modified the shape according to our inspiration, meaning the luggage would be circular (picture on the left) and the same shape would enable the luggage to move. Making sure that the mechanism would allow the "wheel" to move but not the items within the compartment. It also had two handle ideas, a firm plastic handle or a cloth roll-out handle.
Then again we kept on pushing out design further to evolution it to something better.
Thinking about wheels! In the MOMA several children got stopped for riding scooters inside the MOMA, so we incorporated clothes hangers on a elongated scooter to transport groceries and other things.
The ideas moved forward and sparked more and more. One concrete idea we had was bicycles. We thought about what do New Yorkers use a lot as a means of transportation? and in New York, at least around where I live , I see CityBikes everywhere, so we thought if we could incorporate the third design within the wheels of the bikes, what a better way of transporting yourself on bicycles with a great amount of luggage you wouldn't regularly carry on one.
Our final design! we kept on thinking about our inspiration and transportation. This idea sparked. Not many thing are designed for the handicap because they aren't the majority sometimes they are overlooked. So what we have decided was to create a luggage compartment within the wheel to make their travel easier. We played around with the idea a lot and came up with a final
concept which is on the right side
